Kids/Juniors Sparring Gear
Boxing Gloves - Required by First Grading
Kids (9 and under) - 6 to 8oz boxing gloves or WAKO Style Points Gloves
Juniors (10 and above) - 10 to 12oz boxing gloves or WAKO Style Points Gloves
Footpads & Shinguards - Required by Yellow Belt
Must be separate full cover footpads (heel and toe) with separate shin-pad. K1/Muay Thai/MMA connected in-step pads are not suitable as they do not cover the heel or toe.
Headguard & Gumshield - Required by Orange Belt
Must protect sides, back and top of head. The face must also be fully visible. Majority of boxing headguards are not suitable due to lack of rear/top protection.
Groin Guard and Chest Protectors
All males are required to wear a groin guard during sparring underneath their trousers/shorts. For safeguarding reasons we obviously cannot check this, so parents must ensure their child is aware and capable of putting it on themselves without assistance. Chest protectors are recommended for ladies but not required.
Our recommended budget friendly option for a Full Sparring Kit. Once your order is placed we will measure you up in class and advise on what size we will order in for you and discuss your colour preference.
PLEASE NOTE - We place equipment orders at the start of each month. So there can be up to a 6 week waiting period from the time of your order and receiving your product in class.
