Members Etiquette Policy Reminder

Please take a moment to read over our Members Etiquette Policy. These are in place to help ensure we maintain a positive and healthy training environment. The quality of a club can be determined by the attitude of its members. Failure to abide by these policies can result in membership suspension. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Attendance

With the exception of those on the unlimited tariff, all members are assigned to set classes. If you need to attend an alternative class please message your Instructor in advance to confirm.

Arrive on time for the start of your class. If you are late, perform 20 burpee’s before joining the session.

Missing your classes does not make you eligible for a refund and does not guarantee you’ll be able to make up classes on alternative dates.

We cannot guarantee spaces in alternative classes beyond those you are assigned to. Waiting lists are in place for those needing to move if classes are full.

Hygiene

Maintain good personal hygiene. Shower before classes, keep nails cut short and wear clean uniform.

Remove all jewellery, watches and piercings before class.

Do not walk with shoes or outdoor footwear on the matted training area. This includes parents.

Students are encouraged to purchase their own gloves as soon as possible. You are also welcome to use your own focus mitts. We do not lend out sparring equipment.

If you sweat heavily, please bring a towel and regularly wipe yourself down during class.

Do not eat or drink on the matted area. Please bring your own water bottle to classes. Do not use the halls glassware.

Behaviour

We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying, or any kind of violence/aggression in class.

Avoid excessive talking during your class, especially when Instructor’s are teaching or talking to the group.

Do not attempt to teach whilst training. We promote members helping each other, but discourage those in class trying to teach outside of our given syllabus and system.

All members are expected to train in Warrior MA uniform. Including WMA T-Shirts and Martial Arts Trousers/Shorts. Gym shorts, or those with pockets are not permitted.

Payments

The majority of our students pay via Direct Debit using GoCardless. This is our preferred method of payment, and only acceptable option for all new students.

Those who were training before its implementation have been permitted to continue with Bank Transfers. However, these must be made before training commences. Failure to make payments will result in us insisting on Direct Debit Payments.

We require 30 days notice when wishing to cancel your membership.

For all other events including gradings and tournaments, payments must be made in advance to secure your space.
